Yesterday.

Yesterday was the 10th of March. To those of you that have known me long enough, you may be interested to know that it would have been my 5th anniversary with Mark. Now I didn't spend the day sitting in the dark, crying. Much the opposite, actually. I was up early, went to anatomy, had an SSC meeting, did PBL, had a healthy lunch, did more PBL, went to PBL, went to the butchers, had dinner and then went to work.

That doesn't mean that I didn't give the whole situation a little bit of thought though. We haven't spoken since the 26th of January, and that was at my request. At that point, everything was stressing me out and the last thing I wanted to hear was the stuff that he was saying, so I asked him to leave me alone until I was ready to talk to him again. That time is still yet to come.

I've come to understand that in the end we just wanted different things. Things changed; some for the better and others for the worse, but in the end I've come out a better person from it. Since we broke up, we've both grown as people, and to that effect I think it was for the best. I will never forget the time Mark and I spent together, but its in the past. If he ends up reading this, I want him to know that I do still think about him, and I hope he's OK.

Less of this love shit though, lets get to the nitty gritty.

The diet is going well, a little less hardcore than last time I was on it, I must admit, but I need to get through a few bits of junk before my cupboards will be super healthy. I've been doing sit ups and I even went jogging (and plan to go again tomorrow!).

Today I had a GP visit that was meant to be from 9:30 until 5:00. We got to leave dead early and didn't actually interview any patients, which left me with kind of mixed feelings - I could do with the interview practice before Monday (when we get filmed doing it) but I was so tired I really couldn't be bothered any more!

Then I ventured to Heaton Road for Remember the Titans and pancakes (the best I've ever eaten, thank you James) and now I'm here. Later, off to Font and 5th ave with Team Selside. Very excited :)
