I've just spent my weekend in Cornwall. Falmouth, more specifically. I've loved seeing Ed, Rob and Annah once more, and it was so good just to get away from Manchester for a couple of days, see the sea and then see my mum and dad on the way home. I can't guarantee whether my Manchester rabble enjoyed themselves, but I can say that I certainly enjoyed myself and I am very excited about returning ASAP. Oh, and we saw a complete Dave Morgan lookalike at a house party - Dave, you should be glad you didn't come, what would you have done if we'd got you two muddled and you were stuck in Falmouth?
The diet starts tomorrow. I'm doing a food shop when I get up, and have planned all of my meals for the next week, so that I don't end up buying rubbish when I'm like "Ooh I don't know what to have for dinner". Hopefully this approach will work, and I'll return to my previous size.
I'm getting my life in order this week. Definitely. I will cross everything off my to do list, and that will be a great feeling, until it fills up with yet more menial tasks that need to be completed.
This isn't a great blog to be honest, but when you've spent most of your day driving (we left Falmouth at 2, and got back to Manchester at 10.20, bearing in mind about 2 hours' worth of stops) your brain starts to turn into mush. Dad was lovely though when I was at home, and sorted us out with pizza, garlic bread and salad. On the food front, I'm going to try and post more recipes on here. Cooking is a definite passion of mine, and I think that sharing recipes is at least a good way of indulging it. I'm not as bad as Randy with food though. Creeeemeee freeeessshhh.
Lesson 31: A "Venti Peppermint Mocha with an extra shot of espresso, with cream" is possibly the largest coffee drink ever known to man. But boy, does it get you through the next few hours of driving.
